A Celebration of the Life and Music of Irving Berlin

Featuring Adrienne Haan and Bart Shatto

With Richard Danley as Music Director

Directed by Barry Kleinbort

Script and original idea by Laurence Pierron

Produced by Peter Martin, Joseph Barry                               and Laurence Pierron

This season’s White Christmas At The Triad is returning with a big bang, featuring international award winning chanteuse Adrienne Haan and Concert Star Bart Shatto.

Haan, an effervescent and celebrated entertainer, performs a divers and multilingual repertoire. Cited as “the first lady of cabaret and New York’s most exciting cabaret star today”, her performances have garnered numerous standing ovations, most notably at Carnegie Hall, Ravinia Festival and concert halls around the world..

Written by Laurence Pierron and directed by Barry Kleinbort, White Christmas At The Triad tells the life story of great American composer Irving Berlin and his close relation to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Combining their talents, Adrienne Haan and William Michals are presenting some of the most beautiful (Christmas) songs and as well as lesser known oeuvres by the fabulous American composer, celebrating this year’s festive season. They are joined by Haan’s Music Director and arranger of 17 years, Richard Danley, who will be on piano.

Charlie Romo is a singer and actor from New York City.

A graduate of Wagner College, Romo is a classically-trained vocalist who developed an avid passion for, and a unique interpretation of recognizable standards of jazz and the Great American Songbook. Inspired by his favorite interpreters of classic American popular songs (Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Vic Damone, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Jr., Michael Bublé, etc.)—Romo's goal is to "carry the torch" of timeless music by reviving it in his own dynamic and refreshing way. The award-winning contemporary crooner performs in many cities throughout the U.S., including New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Miami. Romo also recently secured a role in a soon-to-be-released Apple TV+ series. An original, contemporary crooner, Romo performs classic hits as if they were brand new. His high energy stage performances harken back to the greats -- but ultimately, his performances set their own standard of excellence. This performance is sure to be special, as Romo makes his Birdland debut with his all-star band for a one-night only show filled with timeless music for what is sure to be a memorable evening.
